All women deserveto feel confident and understood

Women in prison and in contact with the criminal justice system may need specialist support to address and disrupt cycles of offending and their offending behaviours, build trusted and valuable relationships, and overcome complex challenges linked to social anxiety and emotional trauma.

Behavioural support services work with women in both one to one and group settings and aim to

  • emphasise positive behaviour changes
  • improve self-control
  • build on an individual’s personal strengths, emotional resilience and independence
  • support the development of new social and interpersonal skills, and coping strategies
  • inspire and build confidence
