Unsentenced Project
Support and advocacy for women on remand at HMP Bronzefield around accommodation, healthcare finance, benefits and debt and family and significant others.
The Unsentenced programme is based in HMP Bronzefield and there are two distinct pathways included in the programme:
- Adult women held on remand at HMP Bronzefield who are eligible for short term Accommodation and Finance Benefit and Debt support, and a Health Advocacy pathway for remanded women returning to the London area
- Adult women in the community who have been acquitted bailed or sentenced to Non-probation supervised disposals.
The Pathway is specifically to assist those with health vulnerabilities in reconnecting to and accessing any required health or social care services. In relation to Accommodation and Finance Benefit and Debt services to Unsentenced Women, this service is due to cover all women remanded in custody at HMP Bronzefield.
