SPACE is a trauma-informed parenting education programme aimed at all adults, to enable them to understand how trauma can impact on their parenting. support their children and young people who may be going through difficult times. The course helps parents to understand why their children may behave in challenging ways and how we, as adults, can support them. The course also helps parents to understand that their children’s behaviour may be a result of their parents’ trauma, and helps to facilitate positive change in parent-child relationships.

 

Referral Information

Together Women’s services are accessed as part of a court requirement, via referrals from other organisations or through self-referral.

For support as part of a community order or probation requirements, you will be referred to the service via your probation practitioner. Your Together Women key worker can put you forward for the services and intervention courses relevant to your needs.
