Substance Misuse, Through-The-Gate
Delivered from the Beth Centre for women in Lambeth and Southwark.
The support provided by the Substance Misuse Through-The-Gate (SMTTG) Advocates includes working with women up to three months before the end of a prison sentence to help put arrangements in place for their release and, meeting the woman on the day of release from prison and accompanying them to appointments including for local drug and alcohol treatment services.
The SMTTG service is available to women who live in the boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark in prison custody, with an identified substance misuse need.
Referral Information
Referrals can be made to the SMTTG service, by prison or community-based drugs and alcohol services or probation teams, three months before, or within three weeks after, being released from prison by emailing [email protected].
