Reach Out

The Reach Out Programme aims to provide intensive holistic support for women with multiple unmet needs.

The service is targeted at women referred to NDND by Probation and Out-of-Court resolutions who are not getting their needs met through existing provisions and, as a result, find it challenging to engage and may be at risk of reoffending or unable to complete their sentences/orders.

The Reach Out team will assess the woman’s needs with the intention of forming a team around a woman to break down barriers to engagement. The team will provide support around housing, domestic abuse, mental health, debt advice, benefit advice and emergency support.

Once intensive work has been completed, the women can access other support services within NDND to complete their sentences or order.
