Conditional Caution & Diversion Scheme

We support up to 100 vulnerable women identified under PACE by Dorset Police who are in receipt of a conditional caution or community resolution.

Women are referred by the Police and supported to address the root causes of crime (stable accommodation, mental and physical health, poverty, unemployment, trauma and ACEs).

Women are supported for 16 weeks.

Since 2019 92% of women have remained crime free (6 month re-offending statistics from Dorset police), halving re-offending compared to a control group in the year before the intervention started, leading to our commendation from the Howard League fro Penal reform in 2020.
