Safer Wales Women’s Centre at Castle House

Women aged 18 and over are welcome to access our friendly and supportive Women’s Centre at Castle House. The Centre focuses on improving women’s health, safety, and overall wellbeing in a calm and comfortable environment.

We provide the following; 

  • Hot, nutritious food and drinks to support physical wellbeing
  • Clothing and toiletries, including essential items for personal care
  • Laundry & Shower facilities
  • One‑to‑one emotional support, offering a safe space to talk and be heard
  • Group sessions and wellbeing activities to help build confidence, connection, and resilience
  • Weekly GP appointments through Cardiff & Vale Health Inclusion Service for accessible healthcare
  • Harm minimisation support from Cardiff & Vale Drug & Alcohol Service (CAVDAS) & Dyfodol
  • Housing advice from Cardiff Council
