The Women’s Support Centre, Surrey has welcomed women from across Surrey, for the past 10 years, from all backgrounds, supporting them on their journey of identification, recovery, healing and expression. Our vision is to continue to support women dealing with abuse, discrimination, trauma, homelessness, financial difficulties and those navigating the criminal justice system via a Trauma-informed, client-led approach.

The WSC works closely with a number of organisations including all Surrey local authorities, Surrey Police, NHS Surrey and the National Probation Service.

The Women’s Support Centre is a ‘one-stop-shop’ offering group work, one-to-one and counselling supporting women around:

Domestic violence/sexual abuse
Mental health
Substance misuse and alcohol addiction
Debt or money issues
Parenting support
Housing and homelessness
Education and employment
General emotional well-being and physical well-being

Referral Information

To refer a woman to the WSC, please complete the referral form on the website.

Referral meetings take place weekly.

Most projects accept referrals from any agency and self-referrals. This is excluding Checkpoint+ which accepts referrals from the Police and the Young People and Families Project which accepts referrals from professional agencies working with Children such as Surrey Family Services and Surrey County Council (please see relevant project pages for further information on this).
