Centre
Salford Foundation
The Together Women’s Project was set up to provide a community based response to women’s offending. We create a caring, respectful non judgemental atmosphere to support women at risk of offending or those who find themselves within the criminal justice system.
With a highly skilled team we create a trauma informed one stop shop to address all issues across the 9 pathways of offending.
We have excellent links with many local providers within the Salford area who use our centre as a base to engage with women.
We offer training, confidence building, INDIGO (domestic abuse), Anger management, thinking skills, parenting, Safeguarding, debt and finance, mental health, physical health and well being, housing support, stress management, counselling…and much more.
We are co located with Salford Probation have excellent links with Greater Manchester Police.
TWP supports women through community orders/diversion from custody and also plays an active role in Problem Solving court to influence decision making with the female at heart of the plan.
Our aim is to reduce re-offending and to divert women away from the criminal justice system and avoid prosecution.
