The Women’s Centre in New Hall prison has been run by Together Women since 2009. Together Women’s multi-disciplinary team within the prison has specialisms in domestic abuse, rape and sexual trauma counselling, Child Sexual Abuse and support for women who have been involved in the sex industry. We also support with generic resettlement work, as part of an Integrated Through the Gate service.

Our Mentoring and Advocacy Service employs a gender-specific approach to support women who are involved with the Criminal Justice System and who also have personality difficulties.

Referral Information

The New Hall Together Women centre receive referrals from the residents directly through the digital app system (via laptops in each cell), BCST (prison) assessments, internal VAWG assessments, via other services in the prison (such as healthcare and mental health) and through the Probation/Community Integration Team.
