Ophelia House Residential Rehabilitation service
Ophelia House delivered by Phoenix Futures is a CQC registered residential rehabilitation service situated in a quiet Oxford village. It has been developed to meet the needs of women who require abstinence-based residential substance use treatment in a safe and therapeutic environment.
Ophelia House is set in a psychologically responsive environment and run by a dedicated and experienced all female staff team. The programme is based on the Therapeutic Community model where social relationships, daily structures and a variety of activities are all deliberately designed to support with health and well-being.
Ophelia House key features:
- A programme enhanced by individualised trauma responsive care specifically designed for women who require substance use treatment
- Led by our team of highly trained and experienced workers, counsellors and our onsite mental health nurse
- Comprehensive group programme designed by our clinical interventions team
- Delivery of The Freedom Programme – which aims to support survivors of domestic violence to examine their thoughts and beliefs and to process traumatic experiences
- Onsite Complementary Therapies and a range of Health & Wellbeing activities
- 22 single occupancy rooms with en-suite bathrooms, including ground floor accessible rooms, all designed to a high standard with comfort and quality in mind.
- On site accommodation for senior residents that supports their transition into independent living
- Spacious and well-appointed area’s dedicated for groups and one to one sessions
- The grounds at Ophelia House features a dedicated area for our on-site Recovery through Nature programme which offers Community Members the opportunity to connect with nature through a range of outdoor activities to aid healing and recovery
- As we understand the importance of family within recovery, the service provides a comfortable and welcoming environment for visits from family members, loved ones and children.
